The October 2023 Israeli military assault on Gaza is the most devastating yet.
For the past 16 years, Israel imposed an unrelenting siege on 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza within 65 km square, more than half of whom are children.
The siege and subsequent bombardments have totally crippled the electricity, water and healthcare system including access to medical equipment and staff.
