Location: Palestine with possibility of remote work (in the SWANA or Europe timezone)

As part of our growing activities and outreach, our team is looking for a talented organizer and campaigner. Currently, the advocacy team consists of three members based in Palestine.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Under the supervision of the Programme and Advocacy Director, the Advocacy & Campaigning officer will:
- Design tools and activities for impactful organising, campaigning, networking and advocacy endeavours.
- Identify partners and build allies through mapping and networking.
- Assist in drafting overall advocacy and lobby strategies.
- Assist in designing, coordinating and implementing advocacy events and campaigns.
- Engage with and maintain relationships with thought leaders and decision-makers including community leaders and movements.
- Publicly represent PIPD where relevant.
- Draft and create innovative resources aimed at facilitating action and engagement among activists, policymakers, and organizers.
- Take the lead in coordinating, implementing and following up on the Palestinian diaspora trips to Palestine for members of the Palestinian diaspora.
- Organize training sessions and awareness-raising events aimed at presenting a new narrative of Palestine to participants.
- Support the creation of content designed to engage Latin American youth and media.
- In addition to the outlined responsibilities, you may be assigned any other tasks deemed necessary by your direct supervisor
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., International Relations, Legal studies, Political Science).
- Demonstrated experience in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination.
- Minimum of four years experience in advocacy and/or narrative change on Palestine.
- Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic, Spanish is desired.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong ability to follow up on designated tasks.
- Strong sense of initiative.
- Passionate about working for Palestinian rights and campaigning.
- Excellent knowledge of the Palestinian political situation and stakeholders.
- Ability to foster connections with key communities, nurturing trust and empowerment.
- Ability to identify opportunities in the policy and political sphere as well as opportunities for partnerships and allyship in line with our values.
- Excellent ability to draft communications internally and externally.
- Ability to lead strategic collective action.
